Frontier Seminar Series

Michigan Medicine's Frontier Seminar Series is a series of monthly seminars that covers the entire spectrum of biomedical research from bench to bedside, and from target to drug/device discovery and health care delivery in major disease states. Seminar topics include protein folding diseases, microbiome, opiates, precision health and chronic kidney disease, bipolar disease, diabetes, cancer, tinnitus/hearing, vision, healthcare policy and innovation, cardiovascular, and  immunology. This seminar series aims to promote and disseminate the University of Michigan Medical School’s remarkable basic science, translational and clinical discoveries, and the achievements of our Michigan Medicine faculty. The series is hosted by Bishr Omary, MD, PhD, Chief Scientific Officer and Executive Vice Dean for Research. The Program Committee includes Dr. Rodica Pop-Busui, Dr. Gabriel Corfas, Dr. Karl Jepsen, and Dr. John Traynor
