"Our focus is to provide sensitive, comprehensive care to our patients, conduct cutting-edge research and advance education to prevent and treat kidney disease" - Subramaniam Pennathur, MD, Chief, Division of Nephrology
We are committed to providing comprehensive and personalized care for our patients with kidney disease. We have several specialized clinics to treat patients including our Chronic Kidney Disease Clinic, Geriatric Kidney Disease Clinic, Glomerular Diseases Clinic, and Stone Prevention Clinic. We have established state-of-the-art outpatient and inpatient dialysis programs, and a Dialysis and Vascular Access Service. We work hand-in-hand with the U-M Transplant Center in cases where a patient has end-stage kidney failure, with the goal of avoiding or eliminating the need for dialysis. Learn more.
