The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine strives to provide our faculty and fellows with diverse and comprehensive educational opportunities in its mission to advance patient care and research in the field of cardiovascular medicine. Additionally, our faculty and staff play an important role in the education and training of residents and medical students and participate in numerous continuing medical education activities to enrich the knowledge of health care professionals in the communities we serve.

Fellowship and Training Programs

Our high-quality fellowship and research training programs are competitive and exciting, including a general cardiology disease fellowship, seven advanced cardiology fellowships, and two NIH-funded T32 research training programs. Our faculty are skilled mentors and offer a personal approach to training and guiding the next generation of cardiologists. Learn more.

Conferences and Lectures

Our division holds regularly scheduled conferences with the majority being available for physicians to earn CME credit. The University of Michigan Medical School is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. As an accredited CME provider, the Medical School can designate AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ for university activities that meet ACCME requirements.
