Regan Sindelar, M.D.

Program: Pediatrics
Medical School: University of Virginia School of Medicine

About Me:
Hello! I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska with my parents and younger sister (Go Huskers!). I moved out to Williamsburg, Virginia for college, attending the College of William and Mary where I majored in biology and was a member of the gymnastics team. I then stayed in Virginia to earn my medical degree at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. I officially fell in love with pediatrics during my third year clerkship and never looked back! It is truly a privilege to care for children and provide support and encouragement to their families. Outside of medicine, I enjoy running, lifting weights, reading, crocheting, and cooking. My husband and I are also huge board game nerds and love to play with friends and family!

Why Michigan?
During my interview day, I was so impressed by both the top-notch educational opportunities and the close-knit, supportive community that Michigan had to offer! Even over Zoom, I could tell that all the residents and faculty I met were enthusiastic, intelligent, and caring. I am so excited to learn and grow as both a pediatrician and a person at the University of Michigan!
