Personal Hobbies and Interests:
Fun fact – I was a Latin American / Latino studies major in college and taught English in Madrid for a year before med school. I’m a firm believer you’re never too old to play Pokémon! Whether it’s the gym, HIIT classes, or running, I love staying active. New York City is my favorite place to getaway, especially Greenwich Village. Once we learned I’d matched here, my husband and I have both been excited to explore Michigan’s natural beauty!

Why I chose the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship Program at the University of Michigan:
I wanted to train at a large academic medical center in a progressive city, and I was interested in some of the programs available for trainees through the University / medical center. During my interview day, I was struck by how warm, friendly, and supportive everyone in the division was – I felt welcomed right away!
