Lane Savage, M.D.

About Me:
Hi, I’m Lane! I’m from Frankenmuth, Michigan. I went to undergrad at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant studying biomedical sciences and German, then went to medical school at MSU CHM in Grand Rapids and Midland. I’m so excited to further my medical education in pediatrics and medical genetics. Some of my medical interests include behavioral genetics, children with medical complexities, and rural advocacy. Outside of medicine, I love reading, playing or listening to music, baking, or relaxing with my cat Louis.

Michigan is the perfect blend of a well established academic medical center and a supportive learning community, which is exactly what I was looking for. I knew that I would be confident in my medical education while also being surrounded by kind and respectful colleagues. I look forward to the opportunities for research, rural outreach, and service. I’m also thankful that I get to stay close to my support system.
