About Me:
Hi there, and GO BLUE! I am thrilled to receive my pediatric training at the University of Michigan. I grew up in Perrysburg, OH, a suburb of Toledo, with my younger sisters who are twins. In 2018, I earned my undergraduate degree from Miami University and worked as a medical assistant in a pediatric office before starting medical school at Ohio University. My interest in pediatrics initially started when I shadowed my friend’s mom, a pediatrician, while in high school. Fast forward 10 years, my “friend” is now my husband and the first pediatrician I shadowed is my mother-in-law! My spouse is an ophthalmology resident in Detroit and we recently rescued a Great Pyrenees dog named Millie who has been an amazing addition (although we did have to invest in a great vacuum)! In our free time, we enjoy hanging out with our siblings, nieces and nephews, playing tennis, hiking, puzzling, and watching guilty-pleasure reality TV shows. As the daughter of a teacher, supporting and advocating for educators is a huge passion of mine, as well as working to bridge the gaps in pediatric healthcare disparities. I feel honored for the opportunity to work at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and serve the Ann Arbor community and beyond.

Why Michigan?
Providing evidence-based, compassionate, individualized care is incredibly important to me and the reputation of C.S. Mott speaks for itself! It is a privilege to learn alongside world-renowned faculty who are leaders in their field. From the supportive environment, to the diversity of cases, I could not have asked for a better place to train.
