Minding Memory is a podcast devoted to exploring and sharing research on Alzheimer’s Disease and related Dementias
The series is co-hosted by Dr. Donovan Maust and Dr. Matthew Davis and is an initiative of the Center to Accelerate Population Research in Alzheimer’s (CAPRA). CAPRA works to address the negative impacts of dementia on the health and financial well-being of individuals and the population through award funding for early and established investigators in the field of Alzheimer's Disease and Alzheimer's Disease-Related Dementias (AD/ADRD).
In the first episode of the podcast, Maust and Davis introduce themselves and provide an overview of the podcast. They are joined by Dr. Julie Bynum, the director of CAPRA and Margaret Terpenning collegiate professor of internal medicine, to talk about what the NIH-funded research center is and how to get involved. The following episode covers the implications of identification of "preclinical" Alzheimer's disease with guest Dr. Ken Langa.
The next episode will be available on November 8th. You can subscribe to the podcast on your preferred podcast platform: Apple, Google, Spotify.
