Building Strong Roots: Tools for Strengthening Parental Mental Health

Michigan Medicine's Department of Psychiatry and its Zero to Thrive program are pleased to present a discussion to promote the mental health and resilience of families. Loving, secure parent-child relationships build children's resilience, strengthen their ability to cope with challenges, and help them recover from setbacks. These critical connections start with parents and caregivers. To be successful in offering children emotional safety and strong connections, parents need to support their own mental health too.

This session will offer tools for parents to strengthen their own mental health by building strong roots for themselves and their children.
