Biography

David Reising, LMSW is a Clinical Social worker for the Anxiety Disorders Team within the Department of Psychiatry.   He completed his master’s degree in Social Work at Loyola University Chicago in 2015.  Prior to coming to Michigan Medicine, David worked as a clinical social worker and psychotherapist in a variety of roles at the Department of Veteran Affairs.  While at the VA, he trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy to help work with those dealing with the aftermath of surviving trauma, anxiety disorders, sleep dysregulation, and mood disorders.  David enjoys working with adults and has a special interest in helping those who have survived trauma develop new skills and move forward towards their goals.
