Alexandra Kelter, M.D.

Resident
Class of 2027

Biography

I am originally from Southeast Michigan and attended the University of Michigan for undergraduate. I was thrilled by the opportunity to return to my alma mater, the same place where I chose to pursue psychiatry years ago! During my interview, I connected with our amazing faculty and knew that this program would support my various clinical and academic interests by providing a breadth of diverse opportunities. I was drawn to the emphasis on lifelong learning at the University and am honored to serve as a Class Representative to continue promoting educational initiatives and development within our program! Prior to residency, I volunteered with the Crisis Text Line & 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline and am so excited to participate in the unique Psychiatric Emergency Service offered at the University. Outside of work, you can find me running or cycling, exploring the restaurant scene, binging reality TV, and rooting for Michigan Football!
