Biography
Hi everyone! My name is Pearl Sawhney and I’m from Fairfield, Iowa! In my spare time I enjoy playing tennis, rooting for the Celtics, and of course spending time with family and friends. I went to undergrad at Grinnell College where I majored in Biochemistry and did a minor in Global Development Studies. I then went on to do my MPH in Epidemiology at the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!) and stayed there for medical school! I chose family medicine because I love being able to care for a diverse patient population and do a little bit of everything. Furthermore, I appreciated the emphasis on preventative health and community involvement that family medicine offered. The University of Michigan had everything I was looking for in a program and more and I couldn’t be more excited and honored to receive my residency training here!
