Biography
Hi everyone! My name is Mustafa, but you can call me Moose. I grew up in Dearborn, Michigan as a first-generation Iraqi-American with roots in Tuz Khurmatu, Iraq, a city about 120 miles north of Baghdad. I attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where I studied Psychology and then received my medical degree from Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Family Medicine was the field for me due to the wide-ranging clinical experiences and diverse patient populations. I am thrilled to call Michigan Medicine my home largely in part to their emphasis on teaching and open environment. I enjoy staying active, live music, and hanging out with friends and family.
