M. Abbey Moon, M.D.

Hi y’all! I was born and raised in Greenville, S.C. and attended college at The University of Notre Dame- where I fell in love with the Midwest. After college, I spent a year working for a non-profit organization in rural Alabama before attending medical school at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C.

I love the variety and continuity offered in Family Medicine. I chose the University of Michigan in particular because of the incredibly dynamic, compassionate and brilliant faculty and residents that bring life to the Department. I was also drawn to the eclectic, yet inviting, atmosphere of Ann Arbor and its surrounding areas. My fiancé is an intern at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and we split the easy commutes by living in Plymouth, Mich.

In my free time, I love to hike, cook, read, write and spend quality time with my fiancé, Drew, and our dog, Nora.
