Biography

Dr. Hassen Berri completed medical school at Michigan State University. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2016 and his fellowship training in Sports Medicine in 2017 at the University of Michigan. Dr. Berri is currently an assistant professor in the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He collaborates closely with the departments of Orthopedics and Family Medicine. His practice focuses on the treatment of musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions causing pain and/or loss of function. He primarily treats musculoskeletal conditions related to sports injuries, joint pain, osteoarthritis, tendon injuries, ligament injuries, and peripheral neurologic injuries. Dr. Berri specializes in ultrasound guided injection procedures and has a special interest in platelet rich plasma injections for treating musculoskeletal ailments.
