Biography
Zerick is from Columbus, Ohio. He attended Albion College in Albion Michigan, where he received his Bachelors of Arts in Biology. After completing a research fellowship in enzymology through the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Zerick decided to earn a Master’s degree in Chemical Biology from the University of Michigan before entering the Pharm.D. program to expand his knowledge in pharmaceutics. Now, Zerick is the Pharmacy Administration and Leadership intern. In his role he performs a plethora of tasks from participating in the hiring process of pharmacist and pharmacy technicians, participating in the Product Vendor and Selection Committee to combat supply chain shortages as well as finding more cost effective options for patients, and designing the soon-to-be pharmacies at the new Pavilion Hospital. Currently Zerick is still deciding between entering pharmacy leadership or going into pharma. Zerick enjoys trying new foods and spending time with friends and family is most important.
