Biography

As a Clinical Professor at the College of Pharmacy, I am responsible for the following:

  • Provide didactic teaching on career and professional development topics, coordinate P-3 elective course on career and professional development
  • Serve on Student Services committee
  • Participate in prospective student admission interviews
  • Serve as Faculty Advisor for recognized Student Society of ASHP (Health-system Student Pharmacists and the University of Michigan (HSP-UM))
  • Serve as preceptor for Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPEs) and a Management/Leadership Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE)

As the Assistant Director of Education and Research at Michigan Medicine, I am responsible for the following:

  • Oversight of Education across the entire department of pharmacy
  • Oversight of recruiting, on-boarding, and training of all employees
  • Coordination of pharmacy technician recruiting and retention efforts

Areas of Interest

Nutrition support;parenteral nutrition and parenteral nutrition safety;educational, clinical, and safety applications of informatics and information technology;integration of pharmacy students into practice; and surgery and critical caretopics.
