Biography
Hometown: Jackson, TN
Pharmacy School: University of Tennessee
Why did you choose Michigan's residency program?
I chose Michigan because I knew I would be exposed to a variety of emergency departments and experienced preceptors throughout my year. Training at an academic medical center has allowed me to be integrated with the emergency medicine medical residents and provided me many opportunities for interdisciplinary teaching.

Advice for future residents: Residency is the last time you have to learn under someone else. Take advantage of that and take those odd rotations your PGY1 year. You'll have the rest of your life to do your desired speciality. You have a hospital full of preceptors that want to see you succeed and would be happy to teach you about their passions.
