Biography
Amalia is originally from Grand Rapids, MI and earned her BA in Behavorial Neuroscience at Grand Valley State University. The first summer of the Oral Chemotherapy internship she worked alongside the Specialty intern at the distribution center and call center where she filled medications and called patients for refills. As the Oral Chemotherapy intern, she works with cancer patients, focusing on patient counseling of oral chemotherapy drugs, as well as gathering information regarding drug-drug interactions and any side effects the patient may be experiencing. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, painting, and exploring new restaurants to eat at! As of right now, Amalia is hoping to pursue residency, but is open to any future career opportunities!
