Biography

Dr. Rogers is the site PI at University of Michigan for the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN), an infrastructure network funded by HRSA. He has over seven years of experience with clinical research operations and implementation. He has been the site PI for multiple PECARN studies and has successfully coordinated trials, both observational and interventional. His early research focused on procedural pain in the Emergency Department for the youngest patients undergoing painful procedures. He completed a randomized trial of sucrose analgesia for bladder catheterization, which was the first prospective study of sucrose analgesia, a method that had been adopted in neonatal ICU practice, in the ED setting.
