Recruiting a new MIP tenure-track faculty with the U of Michigan Institute for Heart and Brain Health

The Departments of Molecular & Integrative Physiology and Cell & Developmental Biology in conjunction with the Institute for Heart and Brain Health at the University of Michigan Medical School invite applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level. We seek outstanding colleagues whose research addresses cutting-edge questions in any area of physiology as well as cell and developmental biology with relevance to heart and/or brain health. 

Successful candidates will join a highly collaborative scientific community that values transformative science and the development of the next generation of scientific leaders. Primary appointment will be in one of these two world-class departments, with research space in the pioneering Institute for Heart and Brain Health (IHBH).  IHBH is dedicated to understanding the common biological factors influencing health and disease in the heart and brain, as well as how these organs communicate.

Qualifications include a Ph.D. and/or M.D., a track record of successful scientific discovery, publication, potential for extramural funding, and collaboration, as well as a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion in the biomedical sciences.
