John Moran named first Gilbert S. Omenn Collegiate Professor in Human Genetics

Dr. John V. Moran, Ph.D., was formally installed as the first Gilbert S. Omenn Collegiate Professor of Human Genetics at an inauguration ceremony held on December 2, 2010. Dr. Moran is a professor of Human Genetics and Internal Medicine in the University of Michigan Medical School who has achieved acclaim for his work on mobile DNA sequences and their impact on the human genome.
