McCarthy has worked with DLHS since 2018, starting on a project with Professor Emeritus James T. Fitzgerald, Ph.D. before moving to full-time in the department, in 2019. She is the go-to in DLHS for all things technology related.
When asked how she felt about being recognized in URecord McCarthy told DLHS Communications: “I’m excited to spread the word so hopefully some people who are looking for a way to maintain their mobility or just decrease stress can benefit.”
