Koscielniak Chosen to Receive EDGE Award

Nik Koscielniak, MS, MPH was recently selected by the Endowment for the Basic Sciences (EBS), as one of the recipients of the 2017-2018 Endowment for the Development of Graduate Education (EDGE) Award.

Koscielniak, a PhD student in the Health Infrastructures and Learning Systems (HILS) program, was nominated by the DLHS Department Chair, Charles P. Friedman, PhD, and HILS Director, Anne Sales, PhD, RN. The development award is presented at the July 16, EBS luncheon and will support Koscielniak's work with the Shriners Hospitals for Children. The EDGE fund was established in early 2009 to support graduate students in the departments and units affiliated with the Endowment for the Basic Sciences.
