Joshua Rubin recognized as Champion of Consumer Access by NATE

Yesterday the National Association for Trusted Exchange (NATE) honored Joshua C. Rubin JD, MBA, MPP, MPH, Program Officer of Learning Health System Initiatives with their inaugural Champions of Consumer Access award for his contribution in easing the burden of records access on consumers and their caregivers.

The ceremony honoring Rubin and seven others was held during the 2017 Health Care Information and Management Systems Society (HiMSS) conference in Orlando, Florida.  NATE cites Rubin's role in working to realize a national Learning Health System where patient-generated contributions are integral to its success as a key factor in his selection as an award recipient.  Rubin will be examining the important issue of patient empowerment in the upcoming Learning Health Systems Journal
