Biography
Jalen is an incoming student in the Health Infrastructures and Learning Systems (HILS) Online MS program. He recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Health, Society at the University of Michigan in 2023. He currently works as a medical scribe at Corewell Health’s Health and Wellness Center, where he has deepened his passion in reducing health disparities. For that reason, he has developed a great interest in the ways that the learning health system model will improve the overall quality of care in underrepresented communities. He looks forward to continuing his education at the University of Michigan.
In his free time, he loves to watch football with his parents and older brother, drawing, and cooking.
