Biography
Evie is a first-year master’s student in Health Services Administration. After graduating from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management and policy, she worked at Epic Systems, a large electronic medical record software company, where she managed people and projects as a Team Lead in Quality Assurance. Her goal as a student in the Precision Health Certificate program is to gain expertise in the US healthcare system, gain an understanding in how technology is used in medical care, and gain skills for evaluating technology’s effectiveness in providing better healthcare. Upon graduation, Evie’s career objective is to provide leadership in healthcare systems by evaluating and optimizing technology to help clinicians provide better medical care through improved patient care and safety. The certificate program will assist her in gaining the qualitative and quantitative skills necessary to reach this goal.
