Biography

Liz is an Administrative Specialist Associate in the Department of Learning Health Sciences, providing staff support to the HILS program as well as assorted administrative support to other department initiatives. She provides calendar support to Gretchen Piatt and Vinod Vydiswaran. She has been with the department since July 2018.

Liz has a degree in history from Saginaw Valley State College (now University) and first came to work at U-M in the University Health Services building. She has worked in a variety of positions in healthcare-adjacent areas within the University, much of that time in research-related environments. She refers to herself as a “Jill of All Trades” and considers a great day to be one in which she has learned stuff and been helpful.

She and her husband (who also works for the University) are active with church and community activities while acting as household servants to four cats. Liz is active in the local crafting community and continues her lifelong, peripatetic study of history.
