Biography

Deidre is an Administrative Coordinator at Region 10 PIHP, overseeing Medicaid-funded mental health and Substance Use Disorder services throughout Genesee, Lapeer, Sanilac, and St. Clair Counties. She serves as Lead on programs such as the Healthcare Integration Project, Home and Community Based Services, regional satisfaction surveys, and performance measures for the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, Opioid Health Home, and Michigan Mission Based Performance Indicator System programs. Deidre earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Michigan in 2021 and has returned to complete the Health Infrastructures and Learning Systems MS online program. Deidre's past research centered on mindfulness as a method of stress reduction in older adults and the potential correlation between eating disorder symptomatology and relationship satisfaction. Her work history includes time spent as a Research Assistant at University of Michigan, Pharmacy Administrator at the Behavioral Center of Michigan, and Central Pharmacy Technician at Michigan Medicine.

Deidre lives in Port Huron, MI, with her dog, Teddy, and her 2 cats, Little Girl and Castiel. She has taken up running since the pandemic and is currently training for her first full marathon this fall. She is also a radio DJ and public speaker.
