The Prechter Program has a new science and research focused ongoing series - The Prechter-Tam Bipolar Seminars. This will give Prechter research faculty and staff a space to share their research with peers and gain new perspectives to help them in their work.
The first seminar, "Characterization of Stem Cell-Derived Exosomes and Their Impact on Recipient Cells," was held on May 20, 2021. The launch was a success with attendees from all over the country. The seminar featured a presentation by Dan Schill, Ph.D., on the research conducted in the O'Shea stem cell lab.
The talk was followed by a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Melvin McInnis, featuring U-M faculty:
