Biography

Dr. Hensick is a hospital dentistry general practice resident at Michigan Medicine. Originally from Howell, Michigan, she completed her undergraduate training at the University of Michigan in 2016 and graduated with a B.S. in Movement Science with a minor in Medical Anthropology and a concentration in Spanish. She obtained a M.S. in Medical Physiology from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 2017, after which she worked as a surgical assistant, lab aide and patient coordinator for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon Dr. Bonine in Brighton, Michigan.

Most recently, she returned to the University of Michigan to complete her D.D.S. degree in 2022. In dental school she was a member of Delta Sigma Delta, American Student Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatrics and was a founding member of both the Advanced General Dentistry Chapter and the Student Endodontics Club. Dr. Hensick is excited to be providing care in the hospital setting at the University of Michigan.
