Why Michigan Surgery

"I completed an away rotation at Michigan Medicine in my 4th year of medical school and was blown away by the culture of the program and the institution. With my non-traditional background prior to pursuing medicine, it was important to me that I came to an institution who valued the skills I developed because of those experiences. Michigan Surgery truly values a diverse workplace culture."

Life in Ann Arbor

"Living just outside of Ann Arbor has enabled me to live in the country, but only be 10-15 minutes away from the hospital. I can truly relax in the comfort of an environment I love but be at work in a short period of time and easily access a great restaurant scene."

Hobbies

"I have been a competitive bodybuilder for approximately 10 years now, and I love to explore some of the gyms in Ann Arbor and the surrounding areas on my days off. I also started gardening after moving to the area and love to spend time outdoors with my partner tending to our vegetables, flowers, and trees."
