Biography

Estifanos Mehari graduated in 2017 from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology of Global Health. There he was involved in the Students of Georgetown Inc. (The Corp) the largest entirely student run non-profit in the world. He received his DDS from NYU’s College of Dentistry in 2023. While at NYU he was heavily involved in the OMS Society. During his fourth year Estifanos was one of five students selected for the OMS honors program. This program allowed him to take on more complex surgical cases and work directly with surgical residents at Bellevue Hospital. He was awarded the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Dental Implant Student Award for outstanding achievements and performance related to treatment planning and implant prosthetics. Upon graduation he was inducted into NYU’s chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
