ALS Research Covered by Numerous Media Outlets Across the Globe

Recent research by Drs. Stephen Goutman and Eva Feldman showed that certain activities, such as golfing and gardening, may represent modifiable risk factors for ALS.

Eva Feldman, M.D., Ph.D., and Stephen Goutman, M.D., M.S., recently published findings in the Journal of the Neurological Sciences that participation in recreational activities — including golfing, gardening or yard work, woodworking and hunting — may be associated with an increase in a person’s risk for developing amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS, some were sex-specific.
