Early-career physicians from low-resource settings will have the opportunity to spend a year at Michigan Medicine as a visiting scholar through a new endowed fellowship program. Named for a long-time UMMS endocrinologist and administered through Global REACH, the new Josip Matovinovic Clinical Medicine Fellowship will pair a visiting scholar with a UMMS mentor for observership, training opportunities, and research culminating in a scholarly project.
