Dr. Wicha’s career has focused on the biology and treatment of breast cancer and he has been a major leader in the science of cancer stem cells. He co-leads a collaboration through the Michigan Medicine-Peking University Health Science Center Joint Institute exploring the role of exosome signaling in cancer cell dedifferentiation and chemo-resistance.
