Events & Seminars

The Center for Cell Plasticity and Organ Design (CPOD) hosts an annual seminar series that brings our community together, introduces new technologies and research approaches pertinent to our mission, promotes research collaborations for our members and provides career development opportunities for our trainees.  We host invited speakers within the University and both domestic and internationally.

The Center for Cell Plasticity and Organ Design (CPOD) is excited to announce our Winter 2024 Seminar Series titled "New Year - New Faculty - Making Connections".  It is our honor to introduce five new faculty from across the University of Michigan campus: Dr. Hisham Bazzi (Cell & Developmental Biology), Dr. Michelle Hastings (Pharmacology), Dr. David Lorberbaum (Pharmacology), Dr. Agnieszka Lukaszewicz (Human Genetics), and Dr. Tomer Stern (Biologic and Materials Sciences & Prosthodontics) who will be sharing their research during the months of January and February.  External invited speakers will visit us later in the Winter Semester.  We look forward to seeing you at CPOD's Seminar Series to get to know UM's new Faculty!
