Biography
During my PhD, I studied the role of lipid-protein interaction in (1) the function and endocytosis of a neurotransmitter receptor, and (2) the entry of intracellular pathogens into host cells. In the Puthenveedu lab, I am exploring the mechanistic basis of spatiotemporal control of GPCR subcellular organization and signaling using a combination of quantitative cell biology, biochemistry, and forward genetics.
