Research Opportunities for Rotating Students

We use a variety of means to better understand how and why food allergies happen, how food anaphylaxis proceeds, and how to better predict who has or will develop a food allergy. Our favored investigative techniques include various in vitro and in vivo model systems, human participant bio-sampling from anaphylaxis events, transepidermal water loss measurement, and multiple "omics" approaches. We believe that a combination of approaches can help us better understand human anaphylaxis and solve this issue more rapidly and effectively. This variety of approaches reflects the diverse interests and expertise of our team members, who each bring a unique perspective to help our group's approaches evolve.
