The Airway Management class focuses on identifying and using the appropriate equipment to treat adult and pediatric airway emergencies. Sessions will include demonstration and hands-on practice of bag-valve-mask, oralpharyngeal airway and nasopharyngeal airway. Accessory equipment will also be covered including suction equipment, magill forceps, and capnography. Adult and pediatric airway simulators will be used for individual practice, as well as team approaches. This is NOT a certification course.
