Excitement buzzed at the Student National Medical Association's SimFEST in New Orleans this weekend as a multitude of students showed keen interest in the program. The event drew an impressive turnout, with ambitious young minds participating from across the nation. Several attendees have already applied to the Michigan Urology Academy this year, some of whom are returning participants, which highlights the program’s ongoing appeal. Encouragingly, a few M3 students have submitted applications for sub-internships, and one noteworthy undergraduate is poised to apply to our esteemed medical school. Special thanks to Dr. Paholo Barboglio Romo, Residents Kristian Black and Helen Gambrah, and Medical Student Eliyas Asfaw, whose help, enthusiasm, and dedication played a pivotal role in the event's success and the palpable positive reception.
