VA Ann Arbor Section of Urology

The VA Ann Arbor Section of Urology mission is to serve our American Veterans with timely, safe, state-of-the-art urological care. Our goals are to provide efficient and comprehensive outpatient urologic care to best serve our patients and referring physicians, foster a safe and cooperative work environment that promotes our faculty and staff strengths and encourages them to achieve their full professional potential and promote an expansive, challenging and rewarding educational experience for our residents and students through our outpatient clinic, surgical procedures, inpatient wards and didactic sessions.

The Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System is a tertiary care facility, and the Ann Arbor VA Section of Urology works closely with the Michigan Medicine Department of Urology.  Faculty have dual appointments at the University of Michigan as well as the VA.  The VA Urology Section offers the entire spectrum of state-of-the-art specialty care, including advanced open and minimally-invasive/robotic surgical techniques. Our high-volume outpatient and procedure clinics provide ambulatory Urology services to our Veterans from across our region. VA Urology physicians are also involved in innovative urological research and can provide referrals to numerous on-site specialty clinics staffed by U-M faculty physicians.
