Cristina Fox, MD

Assistant Professor, Urology

Biography

I was born and raised in New York.  I studied finance in college and worked in that industry for several years before transitioning to medical school.  I attended SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, followed by training in and around NYC through New York Medical College.  To deliver more comprehensive Female Urologic care, I completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine Reconstruction at Hackensack University Medical Center.

I am passionate about patient education, coaching and mentorship, and physician wellness. I specialize in a broad spectrum of general urology conditions, inducing kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia, voiding dysfunction, prostate cancer screening, and diagnosis of common urologic malignancies.  My focus extends to female urology, including stress and urge incontinence, interstitial cystitis, and management of menopausal urologic symptoms.

Outside of work, I enjoy travel, cooking, and adventures with my Corgi, Milo.  I also dedicate time to physician coaching and wellness initiatives.
