The University of Michigan Health system is using an electronic health record designed by EPIC Systems Corporation Branded "MiChart".MiChart is the fully integrated, patient-centric electronic health record (EHR) system used by over 30,000 members of the Michigan Medicine community.
The areas of MiChart implementation include all of ambulatory care, Emergency Department, patient portal, Inpatient and ambulatory patient care orders and documentation, Operating rooms, Obstetric services, Patient and professional billing, Patient registration and scheduling, Patient transportation services, Pharmacy Department, Radiology patient management, Research and Health Information Management.
