At the Mary H. Weiser Food Allergy Center, our mission is to improve the lives of food allergic individuals by conducting comprehensive food allergy-related research that will significantly improve patient care and expand food allergy education, research and community services.

Our center is part of Michigan Medicine, the University of Michigan’s nationally top-ranked academic medical center, and benefits from coordination with the Allergy Specialty Clinic and the Food Allergy Clinic, which offer diagnostic and testing services for patients and their families.

By assembling a world-class team of faculty, we’re able to approach the problem of food allergy from multiple viewpoints that cross scientific disciplines. Our advisory committee provides vital support and guidance, connecting us closely with the families who live with food allergy every day.

With this expertise combined with our unique culture of collaboration, we’re already making strides to understand, to treat, and to one day prevent food allergy.
