Since its establishment in 1967, the Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine at Michigan Medicine has become one of the largest and most successful divisions of its kind in the country. With over 85 faculty, advanced practice providers, trainees, and support staff, our division offers a wide range of clinical, educational, and research programs and opportunities. Our division strives to provide compassionate and state-of-the-art care to older adults and those with serious illnesses, while also advancing the fields of geriatric and palliative medicine through innovative research and education.
