Medical School website earns CASE V Gold Award

Member institutions are honored for their creative efforts in communications, alumni relations and development

The University of Michigan Medical School website, medicine.umich.edu/medschool, recently won first place (Gold Award) for best institutional website in the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) V regional awards competition.

The website was created by a team from Michigan MultiMedia, under the direction of Sam Keith and Kelly Davenport. The Medical School website steering committee is comprised of Kevin Bergquist, Brad Densen, Kara Gavin, Lisa Gubaci-Root, Craig McCool and Maria White.

Other award recipients in the best institutional website category are Cleveland State University (silver) and Big Ten peer Northwestern University (bronze).

CASE is an international association of education advancement officers, who include alumni administrators, fundraisers, public relations managers, publications editors and government relations officers.

District V includes members from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin. Member institutions are encouraged to submit their best work in communications, alumni relations and development.
