Postbac Research Education Program (UM PREP)

Your Next Step is UM PREP

UM PREP is a 1-year program designed to help scholars strengthen their candidacy for admission to the nation's strongest biomedical sciences Ph.D. programs.

UM PREP is part of the training efforts of the NIH's Diversity in the Biomedical Workforce initiative and is supported by the NIH Division of Training, Workforce Development, and Diversity.

UM PREP encourages applications from underrepresented minorities who hold a recent baccalaureate degree in a field related to biomedical sciences that are interested in pursuing a research doctorate. View all PREP Participating Institutions
