The Radiation Oncology Team from lab bench to bedside

Radiation Oncology at Michigan Medicine is comprised of an advanced team of highly-motivated professionals focused on the mission of cancer research, education, and therapy. Our internationally-renowned faculty physicians, physicists, and biologists lead the way in translating basic cancer research from the lab bench into novel clinical trials and advancing the standard of care. Behind each individualized radiation therapy treatment are UM faculty physicians and physicists, residents, physician's assistants, nurse practitioners, social workers, radiation therapists, medical assistants and dosimetrists. Working behind the scenes, our professional administrative staff strives to keep everything running smoothly. Postdoctoral fellows and students from around the world train in our clinics and research laboratories. Meet some of them in this section.
