The 4th annual Drive to Make A Difference charity golf outing was held at Davison Country Club on Sunday, August 15, 2021 and we’re happy to report that the event was a tremendous success. We had a full course of 100 golfers from inside and outside of the department, 12 corporate sponsors, 15+ individual donors and a team of volunteers that helped orchestrate the fantastic event. As always, our fundraising mission is to support the patients treated in our department at the University Hospital, with a particular emphasis on improving the experience for our pediatric patients. We are thrilled to have raised nearly $20,000 at our charity golf outing this year. This was our most successful event to date and we can’t thank everyone enough for their generosity and patronage.
The support we've received over the past four years for the Drive to Make A Difference golf outings and the Rally in the Alley bowling events has been extraordinary. And, the feedback we’ve received highlights how much participants appreciate getting together with colleagues, family and friends in a fun and relaxing atmosphere that supports our patients.
